Card game
Card game
Ideas for play, to send each other when you are apart, or to draw together when you are side by side.
Apart, choose a card, adjust the instruction, add a note, then send the link: the other person turns the card over and replies, I accept, I’ll take the variant, I ask for more time, or I decline. Together, draw a card and turn it over on the same screen, or browse them for ideas: an instruction written for a distance can simply be said aloud. You can also write your own card. With the dice cards, chance picks one of six instructions known in advance. Hard cards, the most intense level, assume you have already played together and gone back over your limits.
Browse the cards Draw a card Write my card
Cards stay within what has been agreed. Apart or together, they do not replace negotiation: their instructions are read in the light of your limits, those in the Portrait for example.
A refusal is a complete answer. It needs no justification, it is not punished and it is not made up for later.
Images stay between you. A photo sent in return is not forwarded, shown or published: in all four countries covered by the guide, that is an offence .
On your own, take even more care. No ties, nothing involving breathing, and a presence check when the instruction calls for one. The details are in Safety .

Words Writing, saying, confessing: giving shape to what usually goes unsaid.
Words Three words Write me three words that say what your body wants from me right now. No sentences, no explanations, no editing: the first three that come, in the order they come. Light 10 minutes Words The password Choose a word that will serve as the password for our next meeting. Send it to me with one sentence saying why that word and not another. When the time comes, I’ll be the one to say it, and you’ll know the game is beginning. Light 10 minutes Words A whispered minute Record yourself for one minute, in a low voice, describing what you would do to me if I walked into the room now: where you would begin, what you would take your time over. Slowly. No crude words, but no euphemisms either. Intense 10 minutes Words Lines Copy out by hand, twenty times, the sentence I attach to this card, kneeling at a coffee table if you can. Legible handwriting, no crossings-out: a spoiled line is started again. The slowness is part of the instruction. Firm an evening Words The exact time Today, the first time a thought about me stirs you without your having gone looking for it, note the time, the place and what you were doing. Send it to me straight away, in three bare lines. Any thoughts after that, you keep: you’ll tell me about them when I ask. Firm a day · Apart Words In a low voice Record yourself saying, slowly and in a low voice, the sentence I attach to this card. Start again, five times at most, until your voice no longer shakes. You send only the last take. Intense 10 minutes Words Not one crude word Write a page about a scene you would like to live out with me. No crude words are allowed: everything comes through gestures, objects, light, what is said. Read it over once, correct nothing, send it. Intense an evening Words What isn’t said at the dinner table Between now and tomorrow morning, each time you think of me in a way you wouldn’t talk about at the dinner table, note the time and a single word. No sentences, no justification. When you wake up, send me the list as it is. Intense until tomorrow · Apart Words A proper request Tonight, you will get nothing from me without asking for it properly. Make your request aloud, complete and polite, without drowning it in apologies or cutting it short with a hurried “please”. Record it and send it: I’ll tell you whether it is acceptable. Very intense an evening Words The confession Write down the thing you find hardest to ask me for. Then read it aloud and send me the recording, without the text. You are allowed to blush, not to smooth it over. Very intense 10 minutes Words Begging Tonight, before you get what you desire, you beg me for it: on your knees, aloud, in words that grow more and more precise, until I say yes. I may also answer “not yet”, and you start again. Very intense an evening Words The chosen words In front of the mirror, on your knees, you slowly repeat, ten times, the three words we chose together to name you when we play. You don’t lower your eyes. Then you tell me which one stirred you most. Hard 10 minutes
The body Sensations on the skin, felt alone on instruction or received from the other’s hands.
The body Slow breathing Lying down, one hand resting on your belly, breathe slowly: four counts in, six counts out. With each breath out, imagine my hand moving a little lower. Five minutes. Then write me how far it got. Firm 10 minutes The body The inventory Lying down, in your underwear or naked, run your hands over yourself one area at a time, from your ankles to the back of your neck, as if you were presenting each place to me. You go no further than a caress. Then tell me the place you would like me to touch first. Firm 10 minutes The body The feather Eyes closed, with a feather, a dry brush or the end of a scarf, slowly trace the back of your neck, the inside of your arms, then the inside of your thighs, ten strokes for each area. Tell me which one made you shiver. Firm 10 minutes The body Warm hands Rub your palms together until they burn, then lay them flat on the back of your neck. Do it again for your belly, then for the inside of your thighs. Let the warmth sink in before you move. Tell me where it stayed longest. Light 10 minutes The body Ten, counted With an open hand, give yourself ten slaps on the upper thigh or on one buttock, starting gently and going a little harder each time. Count each one aloud and say “thank you” after it. Record yourself. Intense 10 minutes The body The ice cube Slide an ice cube along the back of your neck, over your collarbones, then over the inside of your thighs, never letting it rest in one place. When it has melted, you’re done. Write me what your skin did. Firm 10 minutes The body Warm, cold Prepare a cloth soaked in lukewarm water and an ice cube. On the inside of your thighs or on your chest, alternate ten seconds of one and ten seconds of the other, six times. Watch for the exact moment when the sensation tips over. Intense 10 minutes The body In the dark Sit down and cover your eyes with a blindfold or a scarf that you can remove in one movement. Listen to the recording I attach to this card all the way through, without moving. Then write me the sentence that stayed with you. Intense 10 minutes The body The clothes peg Put two wooden clothes pegs on your chest, on the skin around your nipples, or on the nipples themselves if you are already used to it. Keep them on for two minutes by the clock, breathing slowly and recording yourself. Remove them one at a time: it is the blood rushing back that stings most. Very intense 10 minutes The body On my signal Tonight, I’ll dictate a series of sensations to you by message: the feather here, the ice cube there, a pause, your hand laid flat over your heart. You carry out each instruction when it arrives, then reply “done”. You don’t get ahead of anything. Very intense an evening The body The scale Between thumb and index finger, pinch the inside of your thigh, squeezing slowly up to level 3 on a scale of 10, then let go. Do it again up to 4, then up to 5, never beyond. Tell me at which number the pain began to stir you. Intense 10 minutes The body With your fingernails With the tips of your nails, slowly trace the back of your neck, your shoulders, your belly and your upper thighs in long, sweeping strokes: barely touching at first, then a little harder. Stop before it leaves a mark. Tell me where you felt a shiver. Firm 10 minutes The body Three sets of ten Lying on the bed or bent over the arm of the sofa, you receive thirty strokes on your buttocks, in three sets of ten: the hand first, to warm the skin, then the paddle or the flogger. You count each one aloud and say “thank you”. Between sets, a pause, my hand resting flat on your skin. Hard an evening · Together The body The clamps Nipple clamps, set to the gentlest, then tightened by one notch. You keep them on for ten minutes, hands behind your back, without touching them. Then they come off one at a time, slowly, while you breathe: the blood rushing back is the most intense moment. Hard 10 minutes The body The wax Lying on your front on an old towel, blindfolded: wax from a massage candle runs down your back, poured from a height, drop by drop, then in a thin stream. You never know where the next drop will fall. At the end, the lukewarm wax is massaged into your skin. Very intense an evening · Together The body At my mercy Wrists and ankles fastened to the bed with cuffs, blindfolded, for twenty minutes: you know neither what is coming nor when. I may caress you, make you wait, whisper in your ear or say nothing at all. All you can do is receive. Hard an evening · Together
Protocol Set gestures that remind you, in the middle of the day, who you answer to.
Protocol The greeting Tomorrow morning, your first message of the day is for me, before you open any others. It always begins with the same phrase, which you choose tonight and submit to me. If you forget, you say so, with no made-up excuse. Light until tomorrow Protocol The threshold Today, every time you come home, stop for a second on the threshold and say “I am yours” silently before going in. No one should notice. In the evening, tell me how many times. Light a day Protocol The notebook In a notebook kept for this purpose, write a page by hand about your day, addressed to me: what you did well, what you neglected, what you would like to ask me. Date the page. Send me only the last sentence. Firm an evening Protocol Formal address Today, you address me formally in every message and end each one with the same polite closing. You point out any slip yourself, in the next message. I keep count. Firm a day Protocol Five minutes of waiting On a cushion, in a quiet room, take the Kneel position for five minutes: hands on your thighs, back straight without stiffness, eyes lowered. Before you get up, say aloud why you held it. Firm 10 minutes Protocol Rules of the day When I send you this card, I give you two or three rules for the day (for example: ask permission before sitting on the sofa, report on your day to me at 20:00). Copy them into your first message to show you have read them. Each lapse is declared that same evening, before I notice it. Intense a day Protocol Permission Tonight, you ask my permission by message before switching on a screen or changing rooms. Always the same phrase, short and polite. If I don’t reply within five minutes, permission is granted. Intense an evening Protocol In front of the mirror In your underwear, or naked if you feel like it, take the Inspection position facing a mirror and hold it for three minutes, holding your own gaze. Then record a sentence that begins with “What I saw was”. Intense 10 minutes Protocol Three breaths For the next hour, each time a message from me arrives, you put down what you are doing, take the Kneel position, kneeling and sitting back on your heels, for three slow breaths, and only then do you read. I may write often. I may also not write at all. Very intense an evening Protocol The bow On a cushion, take the Obeisance position: kneeling, forehead towards the floor, hands flat on either side of your head. Say the phrase I attach to this card slowly, aloud, ten times. Then get up and send me the recording. Very intense 10 minutes Protocol The evening at my feet From my arrival until midnight: collar on, formal address, permission before speaking, sitting down or touching me. Each time I enter the room, you kneel. Every slip is noted, and they are settled before the evening ends, as I see fit. Hard an evening · Together Protocol The leash At home, curtains drawn: with a leash clipped to your collar, you follow me on all fours from room to room for a quarter of an hour. You stop when I stop, and you sit at my feet when I sit down. Hard 10 minutes · Together
Waiting Time that stretches, and a ban that holds.
Waiting Ten minutes Set a ten-minute timer, kneel, eyes closed, hands on your thighs, and think about what I might ask of you next. You do nothing but wait. When it rings, send me the first word that comes to you. Firm 10 minutes Waiting The unknown hour I’ll write to you tonight, at a time I won’t tell you. Until then, you don’t write to me. When my message arrives, you wait five minutes before opening it. Light an evening · Apart Waiting The envelope Write on a piece of paper what you would like me to ask of you next time. Fold it, slip it into a sealed envelope and put it somewhere in plain sight. You don’t open it, you don’t throw it away, you don’t mention it to me until I ask. Firm until tomorrow Waiting The countdown At 21:00, I send you a number between 10 and 30: that is how many minutes you wait, lying down, hands flat on either side of your body, without touching yourself. Only then may you caress yourself. I may send another number at the last moment. Intense an evening Waiting Sixty Today, before replying to any of my messages, you count slowly to sixty. Even if you’re burning to reply. Especially if you’re burning to reply. Firm a day · Apart Waiting Well-behaved hands Tonight, your hands go nowhere I haven’t sent them. No caresses, no impatience, nothing that looks like getting ahead of next time. Before you sleep, write me one sentence about what this ban did to you. Intense an evening Waiting The other room After reading this card, put your phone in another room, ringer on, for one hour. You only go and get it if it rings. I decide whether to call. Intense an evening · Apart Waiting Forbidden to write Today, each time you feel like writing to me, you don’t: you note the time. At 20:00, you send me the list, and nothing else. Intense a day · Apart Waiting Until noon tomorrow From now until I lift the ban, you don’t touch yourself. Each time the urge comes, you send me only the time, without comment. Tomorrow, I’ll decide whether the waiting has lasted long enough. Very intense until tomorrow Waiting Maybe Tonight, between 21:00 and 22:00, you hold yourself ready: in the outfit I specify, on a chair, phone within reach. I may call you. If I haven’t called by 22:00, you send me a word on how you held up, then go to bed at your usual time. Very intense an evening · Apart Waiting Three days For three days, no orgasm without my permission. Each evening, at the time I set, you bring yourself to the edge three times and stop, then send me a single word on how you are. On the third evening, I decide. Hard several days
Attire A detail you wear that no one else can read.
Attire The ribbon Tie a thin ribbon around your wrist, loose enough to slip a finger underneath, and keep it under your sleeve all day. Each time you feel it, think of me. In the evening, untie it and lay it on the table. Light a day Attire The colour Today, you wear underwear in the colour I choose. No one else knows. In the evening, you tell me in one word what it did to you to know it all day. Light a day Attire The pocket object Slip into your pocket a small object I name (a pebble, a key, a button) and keep it on you all day. Your hand may reach for it when you think of me, and only then. In the evening, tell me how many times. Light a day Attire The moved ring Wear a ring on the finger I tell you, or move the one you already wear to another finger. No one will notice; you will feel it every time you pick something up. In the evening, put it back in its place, saying thank you under your breath. Firm a day Attire The scent This morning, put one drop of the perfume I name on the inside of your wrist, nothing more. When you smell it during the day, you will know who chose it. In the evening, describe the scent to me as it has become. Firm a day Attire Against the skin Tonight, wear right against your skin the softest material you own (silk, velvet, fine wool), somewhere no one can see. Each time you feel it, you stop for a second. Before you sleep, tell me how many seconds you gave me. Firm an evening Attire Three options At 19:00, send me three possible outfits for your evening at home, one sentence for each. I choose. You get dressed, look at yourself in the mirror for one minute, and write to me what you saw. Intense an evening Attire Still there Today, you wear under your clothes the detail I specify, invisible to everyone. In the middle of the day, take yourself aside for a minute to check that it is still there, then write to me: “Still there.” Intense a day Attire The inked word With an eye pencil or a washable felt-tip pen, write the word I give you high on your thigh, where only you can see it. It stays until the evening. Before you sleep, wash it off slowly with lukewarm water, then tell me whether you wanted to keep it. Very intense a day Attire As if I were about to come in Tonight, at the time I set, get dressed as I described to you, then wait for me for five minutes in the Wait position, facing the door, as if I were about to come in. I won’t come in. Afterwards, write to me what you heard during those five minutes. Very intense an evening · Apart Attire Under my gaze Standing in the middle of the room, naked or in your underwear as agreed, you stay still for five minutes while I look at you, without touching you and without speaking. Your hands stay at your sides. Then you tell me what you felt under my gaze. Very intense 10 minutes · Together
Pleasure Your pleasure on instruction: when, where, how, and how far.
Pleasure The body first Touch yourself for ten minutes without aiming for orgasm: your belly, your thighs, the back of your neck, the inside of your arms. The point is not to get anywhere, but to rediscover what your skin likes. Then write me the spot that surprised you. Light 10 minutes Pleasure Stopping short Touch yourself for ten minutes, slowly, without going as far as orgasm. When you feel it getting close, you stop, hands resting flat on your thighs, and only start again once calm has returned. Count the stops. Firm 10 minutes Pleasure The account Tonight, touch yourself however you like, with no instructions. Then write me five lines about what went through your mind, without a single crude word: the images, the gestures, what you would have wanted. Read it over once, correct nothing, send it. Firm an evening Pleasure With your toy Touch yourself with your toy, first at the lowest intensity for five minutes, without turning it up. Then go up one setting every two minutes. Tell me which setting you stopped at, and why. Firm 10 minutes Pleasure The chosen place Tonight, if you touch yourself, it is in the room of your home that I choose, and nowhere else. Set it up beforehand: the light, a blanket, the door closed. Then tell me what that place changed. Firm an evening Pleasure Three edges Tonight, bring yourself close to orgasm three times and stop three times just before. After each stop, send me only the number: “one”, “two”, “three”. After the third, you go no further tonight. Intense an evening Pleasure At the appointed time Today, you climax only at the time I give you, neither before nor after. At the appointed time, you have a quarter of an hour. Then, a single word: “done” or “not this time”. Both are good answers. Intense a day Pleasure By permission Tonight, you may touch yourself for as long as you like, but you climax only after asking my permission by message, and receiving it. If I reply “not yet”, you wait five minutes and ask again. Intense an evening Pleasure As I dictate Tonight, at the agreed time, I guide you by message: where to put your hand, at what pace, when to stop, when to start again. You carry out each instruction when it arrives, then reply “done”. You don’t get ahead of anything. Very intense an evening Pleasure Not before my word From now until tomorrow evening, no orgasm without my message “now”. You are allowed to touch yourself, but never all the way. Tonight and tomorrow morning, send me a single word on how you are holding up. Very intense until tomorrow Pleasure Again Wrists held or tied, the vibrator against you: after the first orgasm, it does not stop. There must be a second, while the sensation becomes almost too much. “Amber” slows things down, “red” stops them. Hard an evening · Together Pleasure Denied I lead you to the edge, with my voice or with my hands, and at the last second I say “stop”: you take your hands away, lay them flat, and go no further. Three times. Then the evening ends without orgasm. Hard an evening
Toys What gets prepared, worn and kept on: an object, and how long it stays.
Toys The choice Look for the first toy you would like to try, or the next one. Send me three options, with one sentence for each: why that one. I choose, or we talk it over in person. Light an evening Toys The preparation Prepare the toy I name as if for a ceremony: wash it in lukewarm water with mild soap, dry it, lay it on a clean cloth, the lubricant beside it. Send me a photo of the table, without you in it. Light 10 minutes Toys Twenty minutes Tonight, at home, insert the plug with plenty of lubricant, taking your time and breathing slowly. Keep it in for twenty minutes while you go about your evening, then remove it gently and clean it. Write to me about what you noticed. Firm an evening Toys One hour Tonight, wear the plug for an hour at home: an hour of reading, cooking or a series. Every twenty minutes, send me two words: “still there”. Intense an evening Toys The wearable toy Tonight, at home, wear the small vibrator designed to slip into your underwear, for an hour. I’m the one who tells you, by message, when to switch it on, at what intensity, and when to switch it off. Firm an evening Toys Remote control Tonight, you wear the app-controlled toy and hand me control of it through the app, for an hour. You don’t know when I’ll switch it on, or for how long. You carry on with your evening as if nothing were happening. Intense an evening · Apart Toys Under your clothes Wear the plug or the wearable toy, switched off, under your clothes during a half-hour errand: the bakery, a walk. No one should notice anything: it is a secret between us, not a show. When you get home, a message. Intense a day Toys An hour at work During one working hour of your choosing, you wear the toy, switched off, under your clothes, with nothing to be seen or heard. At the end of the hour, you remove it discreetly and write me “finished”. Very intense a day · Apart Toys The dinner You wear the plug throughout a dinner at a restaurant, two hours at most, with nothing showing. When we get back, I check, and the evening continues as I see fit. Hard an evening · Together
Preparation Thinking about next time, and making it real already.
Preparation The signal For our next meeting, choose your non-verbal stop signal: an object to drop, three taps, a tune to hum. Repeat it five times so that it comes to you without thinking. Describe it to me precisely enough that I recognise it without hesitating. Light 10 minutes Preparation How you are today Before our next meeting, fill in the questionnaire /tests/ce-soir/, saying honestly where you are today, even if it’s less enthusiastic than planned. Send me the link to your answers. Light 10 minutes Preparation The playlist Put together the playlist for our next meeting: eight tracks, in the order you would like to hear them. For each, one line on what it should accompany, nothing crude. I keep the right to remove one. Light an evening Preparation Three desires, one limit Write three desires for our next meeting, from the simplest to the boldest, and one limit you want to remind me of even if I know it. One sentence for each. I promise nothing, but I read everything. Firm an evening Preparation The parcel Choose an object you would like to see in my hands next time (a ribbon, a feather, a brush) and get it ready: clean it, wrap it in cloth, put it by the door. You don’t tell me what it is. Firm an evening Preparation For afterwards Write down what you will need after our next meeting: a blanket, water, silence, words, a message the next day. Be precise: “kind words” isn’t enough, say which ones. I’ll make it my list. Firm an evening Preparation What has shifted Go back over your answers to /tests/portrait/ or your latest list of limits, and spot what has changed since, in either direction. Send me only the changes, with one sentence for each. Intense an evening Preparation The sealed letter Write a letter by hand about what you hope for from our next meeting, and seal the envelope. You will hand it to me when you arrive. I will read it in front of you, aloud or in silence, as the mood takes me. Intense an evening · Together Preparation The first minute Describe the first minute of our next meeting as you would like it to be: where you stand, what you’re wearing, the first word spoken. Ten lines at most, nothing crude. I won’t tell you whether I use it. Intense an evening Preparation The programme Write out the running order of a twenty-minute scene for our next meeting: what happens and in what order, the stop signal, the moment of care at the end. Write it like a programme, plainly. I’ll send it back to you corrected, and you will sign the final version. Very intense an evening
Tenderness Rewarding, caring, thanking: care is part of the game.
Tenderness The hot drink Make yourself a tea, a herbal tea or a hot chocolate, and drink it slowly, seated, with no screen. Meanwhile, think of the moment at our last meeting when you wanted me most. Send me that moment, in one sentence. Light 10 minutes Tenderness A precise thank-you Write me one specific thing you appreciated from me this week, with the day and the moment. No vague adjectives: a fact. My only reply will be “thank you”. Light 10 minutes Tenderness What you did well Write me three things you did well today, even tiny ones. No “but” at the end of the sentences. I’ll answer with one word for each. Light 10 minutes Tenderness Hands Take some cream and massage your hands, finger by finger, slowly, as if mine were doing it for you. Five minutes at least. Then tell me which finger you had been neglecting until now. Firm 10 minutes Tenderness Time off You have kept to your instructions these past few days. Tonight, give yourself what you have been putting off for a long time: a film, a book, an hour doing nothing. Tell me what you chose, and don’t apologise for enjoying it. Firm an evening · Apart Tenderness Coming down After our call tonight, don’t go to bed straight away. Drink a glass of water, eat something simple, settle under a blanket for ten minutes. Then write to me about how you are coming down. Firm an evening Tenderness Check in tomorrow Tomorrow, at a time of your choosing, send me a message about how you are: tiredness, mood, what comes back to you from the day before. Even if all is well. Especially if something has left a strange aftertaste. Firm until tomorrow Tenderness The bedtime story Tonight, I’ll send you a recording. Go to bed, lights off, and listen to it all the way through. You don’t have to send anything back, except, tomorrow morning, the last word you remember. Intense until tomorrow Tenderness Thank you, nothing else I send you a voice message in which I say what I love about you. Listen to it in full, doing nothing else. You reply only “thank you”: without playing it down, without returning the compliment. Intense 10 minutes Tenderness The mirror In front of a mirror, read aloud the five sentences I have written about you, replacing “you” with “I”. Look at yourself while you say them. Start again, three times at most, until you no longer lower your eyes. Very intense 10 minutes

Chance The tender die Roll the die and do what the face that comes up says. All six faces are gentle: there are only good surprises. Nothing is stored: the card travels in the link you send, and nowhere else.
