Positions/Plate XIV

Leash

Also called: Lesha, Leasha, back turned

Kneeling, back turned, wrists crossed behind you, chin raised and head turned: presenting the ring of the collar.

How to take it

Kneeling on a cushion, upper body upright and thighs vertical, turn your back to the other person. Cross your wrists at the small of your back, hands relaxed. Lift your chin a little and turn your head a quarter turn to the side, to the left in the lists that describe it, to present the ring of the collar. Your shoulders stay low, your eyes go to the side, towards the floor.

What it says

You present the attachment point, just as you present your wrists: you are the one making it accessible. The position comes from the Gorean tradition; the leash itself is mostly symbolic, a way of saying “I follow you”.

Variants

  • Wrists side by side behind your back, a few centimetres apart, as if to receive cuffs.
  • Standing, feet shoulder-width apart, back turned, the same position of head and hands.
  • Sitting on your heels rather than with thighs vertical, when your knees tire.

The call“Turn your back to me.”
